Why a Cooked MealMeans So Much
When a family has been hit by flooding, poverty or disaster, cooking is often the first thing that becomes impossible. There may be no money for food, no fuel for a fire, and nowhere safe to prepare it.
A ready-cooked meal gets past all of that. It reaches a hungry person straight away, with nothing standing in the way. In the hardest moments, hot food is some of the most useful help you can give.
Empowering People In Need,
Empowering People In Need,

Feeding the Hungry Is
Beloved to Allah
Giving food to someone in need is one of the kindest things a Muslim can do, and it carries great reward. It asks nothing of the person you feed, and it reflects the mercy our faith is built on.
“He is not a true believer who eats his fill while his neighbour beside him goes hungry.”
— The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (recorded in al-Adab al-Mufrad)
Every plate you provide is a share in that reward, and a comfort to someone who had all but given up on a warm meal.
The People Your Meals Reach
Our local teams seek out the families who are struggling the most and have the fewest ways to help themselves:
From the Pot to Their Plate
We buy the ingredients, cook the meals, and take them out to families while the food is still warm. Our teams work in remote areas where help is hard to reach, so the meals get to people who might otherwise be missed altogether.
Because our teams live and work in these communities in Tanzania, they know who is going hungry and where to find them.
Give as
Zakat or Sadaqah
Our cooked meals reach poor and eligible families, so you can give through your Zakat as well as your Sadaqah. It is a simple way to feed someone in real need and earn the reward of doing so.
Whether you give a little or a lot, every pound becomes a real meal for a real person.

Why Give Through iHelp Global
iHelp Global is a UK-registered charity (Charity No. 1152490), based in London. Our teams work inside the communities we serve in Tanzania, and helping families earn a living has long been a central part of what we do.
We treat every donation as a trust, and we make sure it builds something that lasts for the family who receives it.
What a Warm Meal Really Does
A hot meal does more than fill an empty stomach. For a few hours, the worry lifts. A mother gets to watch her children eat. A tired, hungry body finds the strength to face another day.
Give enough meals, often enough, and you begin to hold back the hunger that wears these families down. That is the difference your giving makes.
